Three parking spaces only are reserved for MICHOP behind the building: 17, 25, and 26. The other spaces are NOT for us, but there is ample parking on the streets nearby.

To access MICHOP by car, take highway 496 to exit 6, Pine St/Walnut St. Take Walnut St north to Ionia St. Turn right onto Ionia, right onto Seymour, and right onto Ottawa. Downtown is full of one-way streets, which is why you have to drive in circles sometimes to get to your desired location. Once you park your car, walking is easy and almost everything is very close by (within a couple of blocks). Once on Ottawa, pass a few houses on your right, with the Capitol on your left. Look for the yellow house which is MICHOP (on your right). You can park in back in only 3 reserved spaces, #17, #25, and #26 behind the yellow house, entering the back by turning right into the drive before (east) of the yellow MICHOP house. After 5pm and on weekends, one can park in any open space behind MICHOP. Metered parking is also available 8am - 6pm. It is free before and after these hours. Metered parking can be found along Ottawa (use coins) and Walnut, close by to MICHOP. Parking garages can be accessed only 2 blocks from MICHOP, on Ottawa, east of Walnut and Capitol, or from Grand Ave, 3 blocks from MICHOP to the east. Grand Ave and Walnut St only travels in a north direction, and Capitol Ave only travels in a south direction. Allegan only travels east, and Ottawa only travels west. Parking is available all over the downtown area, but at the MICHOP facility, you can park on the street directly in front using the coin-meters (bring quarters).  We have 3 parking spaces in the parking lot behind MICHOP as well, #17, #25 and #26, if they are available.  Downtown parking structures are within 1 block of the facility, and are about $5-$7 fee.
